Friday, June 11, 2004 - Home health weighs CJ at ten pounds with cast. Judging from his last weight in the hospital to the first weighing the next day we think this is the most accurate weight.

Thursday, June 10, 2004 - CJ made another doctor visit yesterday. He is growing as he should be and doing well. Don't know which is correct but they weighed him at the doctor's office and his weight, with cast, was ten pounds seven ounces.

Sunday, June 6, 2004 - CJ has adjusted to home live really well. The only time he wakes up during the night is to eat.

Saturday, June 5, 2004 - CJ continues to do well. He seems to love being home and he really likes cartoons.

Friday, June 4, 2004 - CJ took to his new environment well. His first full day at home was great. The home health nurse came to see him and he is doing fine. He now weighs nine pounds four ounces.

Thursday, June 3, 2004 - It's been a long road. CJ was born weighing one pounds eight ounces, lost to one pound one ounce and today five months and five days later he came home an even nine pounds. Today he was in the sunshine for the first time and rode in his car seat for the first time. He heard a radio for the first time and saw television for the first time. We take so much, in life, for granted. Today CJ began his life journey and I have a feeling he'll find time to stop and smell the flowers along the way. CJ is proof that miracles happen. To all his doctors and nurses, medical personnel and staff of River Oaks Hospital we all will be eternally grateful.

Wednesday, June 2, 2004 - Mom is at the hospital rooming with CJ. Tomorrow is the big day.

Tuesday June 1, 2004 - Cross your fingers. This is nine days apnea free. If all goes well Mom will room in tomorrow night with CJ and he will go home Thursday. He now weighs eight pounds eleven ounces.
