Tuesday, April 27, 2004 - CJ got his casts off today. They will reevaluate him tomorrow to see if they will need to put any more on. Three days without apnea.

Monday, April 26, 2004 - CJ is still doing well but doesn't seem happy with his new environment. I'm sure he misses the nurses he's had since he was born. He's seventeen weeks old today.

Sunday, April 25, 2004 - CJ's NICU got too crowded with babies needing more intensive care so they moved him to another hospital close by. He's still doing really well.

Saturday, April 24, 2004 - CJ had one spell of apnea yesterday so we start counting again. Other than that he is still doing great.

Friday, April 23, 2004 - CJ is doing great. No apnea for for days and the only time he ever requires any oxygen is when he is feeding and very little then.

Thursday, April 22, 2004 - CJ continues to do really well. His original casts went up to his thighs. His new ones are below the knees. It's possible he won't need them soon. Three days without apnea.

Wednesday, April 21, 2004 - CJ is doing really well. Two days without apnea and he now weighs five pounds ten ounces. He got his third set of casts today.

Tuesday, April 20, 2004 - Today is a big day for CJ. He's been moved to the side where they put the babies that are preparing to go home. He's made it a whole day without apnea and he got a new bouncy seat. Today was CJ's due date.

Monday, April 19, 2004 - CJ is sixteen weeks old today. He's doing really well. Once he beats his apnea he should be able to come home.

Friday, April 16, 2004 - Nothing new to report today. CJ continues to do well.

Sunday, April 11, 2004 - The isolette helped and CJ had far less apnea today than yesterday. He had a very restful day.

Saturday, April 10, 2004 - CJ is back in an isolette because of his apnea. Good news is he now weighs four pounds nine ounces.

Friday, April 9, 2004 - CJ is doing a good job of maintaining his body temperature. He still has some apena problems that occur mainly when he is taking a bottle. After he overcomes that he will be well on his way to coming home.

Wednesday, April 7, 2004 - CJ got his first casts today to correct his club feet. His feedings are going really well. He is still getting low level oxygen.

Tuesday. April 6, 2004 - CJ's oxygen level fell some when he went into the crib so they have started giving him some low level oxygen. Other than that everything is still going well.

Monday, April 5, 2004 - CJ is fourteen weeks old today. They moved him to a crib today. If he can maintain his body temperature without the warming of the isolette that's one more step toward coming home.

Sunday April 4, 2004 - CJ is now four pounds and seven ounces. Everything is still going extremely well. He should be in a crib any day now.
